Philanthropic Spotlight - Big Rock's Keli Wagner Lady Angler Tournament

The KWLA tournament is named in honor of the late wife of Big Rock board member, Casey Wagner, who lost her battle with cancer in 2008. Keli was enthusiastic about the success of this tournament and she played a vital role in having the proceeds donated to the cancer clinic. In 2020, the KWLA tournament donated $25,000 towards the improvement of patient comfort & care. Through the generous support of this tournament, patients have been able to relax more during treatments thanks to silencing headphones, complimentary relaxing massage therapy, and beautiful artwork to adorn the cancer center walls. Over 2,000 patients and caregivers alike have enjoyed creating art in painting and pottery classes. A beautiful meditation garden allows caregivers the opportunity to recharge while enjoying fresh air and sunshine. The Lady Anglers through the Big Rock’s Keli Wagner Lady Angler Tournament truly make a difference by providing comfort items and enriching the cancer journey for patients and families.
