We are so blessed in Carteret County to have one of the largest ladies-only fishing events in the whole world! The KWLA tournament is named in honor of Keli Wagner, late wife of Big Rock board member, Casey Wagner, who lost her battle with cancer in 2008. This year the tournament will be June 7-8th with proceeds benefiting several Carteret County charities. Please join us at Tassels on Tuesday, June 11th for Marlins and Mimosas for a refreshing beverage , pop-up shows from Michelle Bradley Robinson House of MBR caftans and art and world renowned jewelry by Dean Davidson. We will be raffling off many items with all proceeds benefiting the KWLA. Also, on June 13th, The Posh Pelican is sponsoring “ Fashion For A Cause”, a fashion show featuring cute and trendy looks from local boutiques. The event will take place on 11-1 at The Dunes Club in Atlantic Beach. Proceeds from the event will benefit the KWLA.
