Started more than two decades ago, Habitat For Humanity (HFH) is a nonprofit organization that helps families build and improve places to call home. We are blessed to have the Crystal Coast Habitat for Humanity right in our neighboring town of Newport. Volunteers are always needed and welcome! In addition to supporting HFH with volunteer hours, folks can enjoy shopping at the HFH ReStore located at 5898 US-70 in Newport. Stroll through aisles of gently used items from furniture to accessories to appliances to cabinets and fixtures. Funds from sales help to build and repair homes in Carteret County and beyond.
