Garner Farms is a well-known source for fresh vegetables, beautiful plants and cut flowers, strawberries, homemade goodies like pies and jams, as well as the biggest and best pumpkins around! While the farm didn’t start selling produce until 1986, it was established in 1946 when Sam Garner purchased a portion of land and started farming tobacco, corn and soybean. He also tended to pigs, chickens and a large vegetable garden for his family’s own consumption. Over the years, three children came along all of whom are still involved in the farm in one capacity or another making Garner Farms a multi-generational family whose farming roots run deep! This strong sense of family value is reflected in community events hosted at the farm including an Easter egg hunt and Garner's Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch.
