Most people are familiar with the renowned Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament, but fewer know about the incredible impact of the foundation behind it. The Big Rock Foundation, the charitable arm of Morehead City's premier sportfishing event, combines the generosity and passion of tournament participants, sponsors, donors, and retail customers to support meaningful causes throughout Eastern North Carolina.

Guided by a "charity first" philosophy, the foundation carefully selects organizations that align with its mission and distributes funds to a diverse range of initiatives, including education, healthcare, community improvement, and marine conservation.

Since its founding in 1986, the Big Rock Foundation has donated nearly $14 million to organizations across Eastern North Carolina, making a lasting difference in the communities it serves. Through the collective support of the Big Rock family, the foundation continues to invest in programs and projects that strengthen our region and preserve the coastal resources that make it so special.
