Project Christmas Cheer is a non-denominational organization that provides assistance for people who need help at Christmastime. Due to COVID-19 the organization has chosen to limit assistance to two different age ranges: children 18 and under and seniors 65 and older. Children’s names will be on angel trees located at The Sports Center on 35th Street and One Harbour Church on Fisher Street. Contact information for drop off and a wish list including sizes will be provided for each angel adopted. Seniors being adopted will receive Wal-Mart gift cards in the amount of the purchaser’s choice. Once gift cards have been purchased, please call at 252-247-7275 between the hours of 8Am-8PM for directions. Monetary donations may be sent to Project Christmas Cheer at PO Box 1914, Morehead City, 28557.
